Because of its good dispersion, polyaspartic acid can be used in pigment, coating, leather making, inorganic chemical industry, oilfield chemistry and other fields. Polyaspartic acid polyester is a new type of slow reaction high-performance aliphatic coating in the coating field, which can be used to prepare protective coatings with high weather resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. In the leather making process, polyaspartic acid or its salt is used as tanning agent to prepare biodegradable leather. In the dyeing and finishing industry, the scouring, bleaching and washing processes of pretreatment show unique biodegradability.
The structural characteristics of polyaspartic acid determine its versatility and environmental protection. There are many studies on the application of polyaspartic acid in other fields in China, such as: used as a drug carrier in medicine, used as a tanning agent in leather making, used as a dispersant for many inorganic substances, used as a new daily chemical additive and various non-toxic and pollution-free fine chemicals.
